Purpose of the position


We are currently looking for an experienced Digital Specialist to join our team. The purpose of the role is to plan, organize and control Hiab Digital Services business and product development, from conceptual stages through product life cycles, to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives. Duties for this specific Role will have an emphasis on Hiab’s HiPerform portfolio (Hiab Training Simulator, HiConnect connectivity solutions and Uptime Remote monitoring and diagnostics services).

Main tasks and responsibilities


  • Drive Hiab’s digital solution sales in the respective market area;
  • Proactively work with local Key Account Manager/Sales Managers as well as Business Development Manager in the Digital Services team to engage with new and existing customers and channel partners;
  • Develop and grow long-term relationships with customers;
  • Work together with the Digital Services within Services Division team, create the customer value propositions, capture and share customer needs and requirements for new and existing solutions;
  • Develop and manage training initiatives internally and to externally;
  • Support customers and internal stakeholders on the relevant activities; solution training or back-office processes;
  • High level of technical understanding and ability to provide technical support related to the Digital Services to customers;
  • Participate in developing sales excellence; sales strategy and process, pipeline management, case qualification, and sales tooling in various application industries;
  • Promotion and live demonstrations at trade shows/conventions/expos to help build interest and customer base for digital products.

What you’ll need to succeed


  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field;
  • + 5 years of solution pre-sales and/or sales experience;
  • Experience in working closely with partners and customers with a focus on adding value to their business by providing solutions;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Relationship management, build and maintain relationships with a can-do attitude;
  • Experience in digital solutions: fleet management, telematics, IoT or data analytics;
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce;
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing situations;
  • Ability to connect with end-user customers at different levels in their organizations;
  • Ability to investigate customer needs and connect that to our solution is crucial;
  • Ability to develop and grow long-term relationships with customers;
  • Result-oriented and fact-based;
  • Self-driven and determined;
  • Team-player;
  • Seek opportunities, ability to take estimated risks;
