Since 2020 we have been progressively transitioning our backend services to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The move signifies the creation of our next-generation data and analytics environment, offering you an opportunity to exercise your data expertise to the fullest and contribute in shaping the future of financial services by helping the organisation leveraging our data.
The role is part of a team consisting of data engineering, business intelligence and data science competence responsible for the new environment, spanning from data pipelines to dashboards to machine learning models.
As a Business Intelligence Engineer your main focus will be to participate in designing and implementing data transformation pipelines as well as building and maintaining dashboards for stakeholders throughout the whole organisation.
The majority of the work will be done in Looker and DBT/Big Query as part of the GCP infrastructure but you will also initially be exposed to our old Qlikview platform that we are gradually moving away from.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer we believe that most of the following characteristics describes you:
- Experience working with business intelligence development & dashboarding, preferably in Looker and QlikView
- Great SQL skills, preferably from BigQuery
- Experience with data transformation tools such as dbt and/or Dataform
- Experience from working with version control software
- Experience in finance is a plus
- Are a problem solver – if you need an answer, you will find it
- Hold a BA degree or equivalent in engineering, computational or technical subject
