Product Marketing (Automotive) [Taiwan]


 

The client is a global leader in semiconductor and communication IC design, specializing in developing cutting-edge solutions that power a wide range of electronic devices. Their expertise enables seamless connectivity, enhanced audio/video performance, and reliable data transmission, positioning them at the forefront of technological advancements. As an Automotive Product Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of integrated circuit designs for automotive applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, marketing professionals, and customers, to define product requirements, manage the design process, and ensure the successful launch of automotive IC products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for automotive IC designs, considering market trends, customer needs, and business goals
  • Requirements Gathering: Conduct market research and engage with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable product specifications
  • Project Management: Lead the design process from concept to production, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and cost targets
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to define product features, resolve technical challenges, and ensure alignment with design specifications
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor offerings, market trends, and technological advancements to inform product development decisions and maintain a competitive edge
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to gather customer feedback, conduct product demonstrations, and address customer inquiries or concerns
  • Product Launch andSupport: Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to plan and execute product launches, create marketing collateral, and provide technical support during the product lifecycle
  • Performance Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Experience: Prior experience in semiconductor product management, preferably in automotive IC design or a related domain. Knowledge of the entire IC design process is essential
  • Project Management: Proven track record in leading complex projects with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and delivering products on schedule
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and interact with customers
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex technical challenges and make informed decisions
