Job Description
Our company is currently looking to fill the position of a Delivery driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.
Duties & responsibilities
- Conduct inspection of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
- Ensure vehicle is clean & tidy
- load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications
- maintain cold chain throughout the delivery schedule (frozen or chilled)
- Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
- Maintain ongoing communication with dispatch executive
- Unload goods at client’s premises as per their instructions
- Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
- Liaise with sales team on deliveries
- Inform dispatch executive / sales team about issues pertaining to product, quality, receiving at customers end etc.
- Plan for maintenance & repairs in coordination with Dispatch Executive
- Follow local traffic laws
Requirements
- A valid UAE light vehicle license (manual)
- Experience driving a 3 ton canter/ Isuzu truck.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Delivery Driver delivering perishable foods.
- Knowledge of UAE roads
- Clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
