The Planning Engineer is responsible for execution of all customers’ order regarding the production program planning. She/He takes responsibility for an in-time supply of finished goods for transportation to the customer. The Planning Engineer is a link to sales, purchasing, warehouse and production departments and optimizes production planning due to agreements with the customer, supply of finished goods, capacity of resources and warehouse stock.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- To create short and long-term production plan according to the demands received from the customer or sales department.
- To create an ideal production plan by considering machine, material, and employee optimization.
- To review forecast for execution of correct material planning.
- To create and manage master data and ensure for high data accuracy in ALPLA ERP system.
- Control and deviation analysis of customer order and customer forecast.
- Control and follow-up stock levels of finished goods and production materials according to plan.
- Optimize warehouse stock levels to reduce working capital.
- To prepare monthly closing files, stock, and sales reports.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,
- Minimum 2 years of planning experience within a manufacturing company,
- Ability to organize diverse information, analyse and solve disputes,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with people inside and outside the organization are required,
- Strong understanding of factors that influence manufacturing, cost and quality of operations is preferred,
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills in English and Turkish.
