An Upcoming Pub and Restaurant in Uluwatu, Bali is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Cook (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Work in hot and cold kitchen
- Organize the workplace
- Plan the preparations of cold and hot kitchen dishes
- Assist other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure great presentation by dressing the meals before being served
- Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
- Check the freshness of food and discard expired items
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Requirements:
- Indonesian citizen
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Proven 1-2 years of work experience as a Cook in a restaurant or hotel or in a similar role
- Knowledgeable and experienced in cooking European cuisine
- Ability to follow the Chef's lead
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipments and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in cooking
- Knowledgeable of food safety protocols
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow recipes
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Rp3,500,000 - Rp4,000,000 per month
