We are offering a great opportunity to work in a dynamic international setting to enhance Caverion's compliance program and to work in a diverse role in our small yet effective Group Legal team. You will also collaborate with colleagues from different European nations, further broadening your horizons. Our company is committed to sustainability, which is central to our operations. The role is divided into two areas: 1) Compliance Officer and 2) Group Legal role supporting the Head of Legal & Compliance in various matters falling into the responsibilities of Group Legal.

Your tasks will include:

Compliance Officer role

  • Managing and further developing an effective corporate compliance program
  • Acting as an independent and proactive adviser to management and other staff on compliance matters
  • Owning and managing the anonymous ethical reporting line of Caverion
  • Owning and developing the Code of Conduct and associated eLearning programmes with support of the HR function as well as providing other compliance trainings
  • Monitoring the regulatory environment and ensuring guidance and compliance with relevant matters
  • Overseeing the validity of and compliance with the Group’s internal policies & guidelines

Group Legal role

  • Supporting the Head of Legal & Compliance, Group General Counsel in various matters in the role of Group Legal, such as regulatory matters, listed company governance, contractual matters, employment law, IPR, etc.

What we expect from you

  • Law degree (LLM or equivalent)
  • Approximately 2–5 years of post-graduate experience preferably as an in-house counsel in a multinational working environment and/or in a law firm
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of Finnish is also preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of Swedish and/or German is an advantage.
  • Ideally prior experience in ethics & compliance. Experience in corporate governance, financing and competition law is an advantage.
  • A high degree of ethics and professionalism
  • Hands-on, proactive, and energetic person with a “can do” attitude.
  • Good self-management, prioritization, and communication skills
  • Business-mindedness and good skills to work in a matrix organization across the different Caverion countries and cultures.
