The Department of Population and Public Health Sciences is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish), dependable, flexible, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to support several National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded research projects pertaining to sedentary behavior, physical activity, and obesity in multiple populations under the direction of Drs. Britni Belcher and Genevieve Dunton.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field with 1-2 years relevant experience in research. The individual will report directly to the Project Administrator. Employment involves participant recruitment and retention, conducting in-person clinical visits, entering and cleaning data, and providing project support to the research study and study staff personnel and faculty. Excellent English and Spanish writing and speaking skills are required. Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends are required. The ideal candidate will have strong interest in research, clinical trials, and is organized and self-motivated. Experience with REDCap database or other research management platforms in a plus. Experience working with youth and diverse patient populations is preferred.
The hourly rate range for this position is $29.98 - $35.72.
