We are seeking a Sustainability Analyst to join our Regional Environmental and Safety Office (RESO) team within the Service, Quality and Environmental (SQE) division in Zaventem, Belgium.
Our mission is to ensure full compliance, accurate and timely take-back operations across Europe; to promote sustainability features of Sony operations and its products; to collect, verify and audit Site Environmental and Occupational Safety (EHS) critical metrics of our sites as well as drive sustainable initiatives.
We play a pivotal role in the Environment, Product and Compliance (EPC) department that handles Sony's product legal compliance and European lobbying activities.

You will:
- Support the implementation of the Global and European Environmental Program under the Global Environmental Management System (GEMS)
- Support planning, developing and implementing Sony Sustainability related activities, such as One Blue Ocean, Food for the Future, Biodiversity, and employee Volunteering Days
- Monitor and Report Site Environmental critical metrics of European GEMS-certified sites
- Improve data reporting and reliability in the internal reporting system
- Support the implementation of the Global and European OHS Program under the Global OHS Management System
- Assist in the development and implementation of Mental Health training
- Monitor and Report OHS important metrics of European GEMS-certified sites
- Support responses on Sony’s sustainability performance to tenders, press inquiries, and market requests
- Complete and coordinate ESG reporting
- Support internal events and communications to ensure all team members are inspired and engaged in Sony sustainability goals
- Collaborate with Marketing teams to activate social media sustainability-focused content
- Maintain and update the company Sustainability Intranet, reflecting new stories, achievements, or progress
You will bring:
- Degree in Natural Science, Social Sciences, Environment or similar
- Knowledge and passion for Sustainability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to inspire and raise awareness
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- A great teammate that integrates with new team members and creates a positive and efficient work environment with team spirit and mutual respect
- Comfortable working in an international environment
- Proactive and dedicated mindset
- Fluency in English is a must (any other European language is a plus)
- A genuine interest about Sony products and businesses
