Key Relationships
- Coordinate with traders on product volume requirements for the month to various locations ensuring the most economical and most secured route for product supply
- Review and comment on contracts to ensure all operational parameters are securely covered
- Plan weekly/monthly loadings with transporters and monitor the daily tracking reports to ensure that they adhere to the load plan
- Analyse daily in country stock positions with the daily consumption demand and ensure that delivery plan is adhered to-ensuring we don't face stock out and delivery congestion situations
- Management of storage terminals, weekly stock progressions and monthly stock reconciliations
- Coordinate directly with Puma/Trafigura Downstream Business Support Managers and Road transporters on scheduling and optimisation.
- Responsible for coordinating between onshore Business Support Managers & customers for timely truck releases aligned to contractual trade balances.
- Issue load order requests to the loading terminals and provide transporters with their load orders for product collection at the various supply locations
- Appoint customs Agents and Independent Inspectors for ensuring supervision of product while loading
- Liaise/Coordinate with Finance, providing them with accurate and timely data needed for issuing of L/C's and obtaining P/Us
- Track Supplier Credit Facility to ensure that the facility is adequate to cover Puma's monthly purchase volumes
- Ensure invoicing of and payment of cargoes. Monitor accounts receivables and issue interest invoices where
- Applicable.
- Maximise recoveries and ensure that all claims to third parties are correctly documented and presented
- Ensure Deal Desk, Commercial team and local Business Support Managers are correctly reflecting stock/sales movements to accurately hedge trade volumes at all times.
- Complete truck voyage reconciliations and identifies loss/gain differences for every operation
- Complete storage reconciliations for each storage location and identify and investigate loss/gain differences
- Responsible for all aspects of customs exportation/importation where applicable.
- Collect information for trading opportunities. Provide technical and team management support to Group Operations Manager and any other support as required.
- Establish and/or maintain good working relationships with Contractual Operations Counterparts and with third party service Companies on a regular basis regarding post deal activities. (Local and International)
