Eligibility and Claims Representative (ECR) [United States]

Position Overview

  • Abide by all HIPAA requirements
  • Heavy Inbound Call Volume - Providers
  • Confirm Benefits and Eligibility
  • Ability to read and understand Benefit Overviews
  • Respond to Claim Inquiries via email
  • Familiar with reading Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
  • Meet and Adhere to all KPI metrics

Requirements

  • Experience working in health insurance
  • Must possess a high level of organization, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Phone-based customer service call center experience (High call volume preferred)
  • Comfortable working with technology
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding track record of attendance and adherence to schedule
  • Quiet and private home working environment, where you can work uninterrupted for your shift
  • Self-starter who demonstrates working independently
  • Reliable high-speed Internet access required
  • Successful multitasker who can ensure all responsibilities are completed in a timely manner

  • Ability to build rapport with a wide range of people
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Strong desire to be of service and assist others
  • Motivated by being in a supporting role and contributing to team success
  • Bilingual a plus! English and Spanish, English and Chinese, English and Mandarin, English and Russian
  • Familiarity with Indemnity Plans a PLUS!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
