Your Mission
Reporting to MEA Supply Chain Director in the Global Customer Projects Division & Service Operation as a Solution Purchaser Senior Expert for highly complex projects, you will be responsible Manage entire purchasing process OG (Outside Group) from supplier sourcing up till purchase order good execution. Within Customer Project Execution center, support Tender and Execution operational teams in supply management on a portfolio of critical multi-business projects. Act as project team member, measuring is Return on Investment (RoI) project wise.

Your Role – Magic happens when you bring great people together!
- Work closely with the tendering team to define the winning procurement and supply chain strategy for the project.
- Run the RFI and RFQ with the selected vendors
- Define the risk profile (Quality, Capacity, Technical, Financial, lead time) and secure mitigation actions
- Secure a professional negotiation with the short-listed vendors/ sub-contractors including securing back-to-back conditions with the head contract.
- Responsible for the supplier award and the criteria for selection
- Responsible for securing that the vendors awarded has been through the correct qualification process.
- Be a true partner to the project team in execution and act on escalations concerning the subcontractors, unsettled claims and variation orders.
- Deploy levers in the supply chain and procurement process to enhance overall competitiveness.
About You
Education: University Msc/Bsc Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Degree
Language requirements:
- Fluent in English
- French language will be valuable
Experience:
- 10 years of project procurement experience whereby minimum 5 years should be in a leading role procuring installation, commissioning, transport and electrical equipment for large and complex projects. (e.g. EPC, rail or large capital projects)
- Experience from negotiating and awarding contracts > 10 MIO EUR
- Global Experience is a must
- Ideally the candidate comes from an international EPC company
- Contract Management skills
- Proven experience from building up supplier relationship strategies and deployment
