INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Media Intelligence Analyst to join our growing media department!

OVERVIEW
The Media Intelligence Analyst will support the IUS Media Intelligence team by compiling, organizing and analyzing various data sources tracking competitive and client performance. The successful candidate will work closely with members of the IUS Media Intelligence and Media Strategy teams to provide regular performance reporting both internally and to clients.
The candidate will need to work closely with external vendors providing data and measurement services to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements. The candidate will also be expected to partner across not only the media team, but other IUS disciplines and external agencies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Role Responsibilities
- Analyze and organize raw data
- Evaluate business needs and objectives
- Interpret trends and patterns
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results
- Combine raw information from different sources
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
- Identify opportunities for data acquisition
- Develop analytical tools and programs
- Identify, track, report on and troubleshoot issues with data capture and tracking
- Identify gaps in the implementation and data capture, document and present findings
- Evaluate business goals and objectives from multiple business teams and develop strategies to allow individuals and teams to measure success
- Assist with tracking and improving the results of marketing campaigns
- Build, update and deliver weekly and monthly reports, dashboards and key performance reports
- Build automated Dashboards for various business stakeholders in Tableau
- Provide best practices consulting services
- Drive insights from data, making suggestions concerning business performance
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills and Abilities
- Experience creating/maintaining analytics documentation (BRD, SDR, and Tech Specs)
- Tableau experience
- Python, SQL, or any coding language preferred
Experience and Education
- B.S/B.A. preferred
- 2+ years of strong analytics experience
- Previous OEM/retail automotive experience a plus, but not necessary
- Media experience a plus, but not necessary

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
