About the Production & Assembly team
The Production & Assembly team is part of the Innovations Department and is responsible for transforming technical specifications into products that are certified, reliable and of excellent quality. The team is also in charge of the Production Facility in Rotterdam, making sure that all activities are performed according to the highest safety standards. The team consists of Production Engineers, Production Mechanics, a Draftsman, Production Support colleagues, an Assembly Supervisor and the soon to be Production Coordinator. In this role you will report to the Manager Production & Assembly.

Your role as Production Coordinator
As a Production Coordinator, you will act as the internal supplier to our Supply Chain department for Ampelmann sub-assemblies and custom parts, such as luffing cylinders or slewing motors. You will be in the lead for relevant quality and document control processes, while working closely with the QC team lead, Asset Engineers, and your internal clients (consisting of the Supply Chain Planner and Warehouse Coordinator).
Apart from these activities, you will support design owners by improving technical specifications and travel incidentally to suppliers. Moreover, as our new Production Coordinator, you will also become part of the Production Community for knowledge sharing together with Production and Maintenance Engineers.
This is a new role within the company, therefore there is enough room for improving the current work process and for creating a positive impact on either newly built or overhaul projects.
