In this exciting Staff Technical Project Manager role, you will lead day-to-day activities of Installed Base engineering team and are responsible for execution of technical projects in a collaborative, global environment. As part of the team, you support usage of the clinical software products used in High Acuity Units to improve surgical outcomes and optimize clinical workflows. Job Description
Responsibilities
Drive IB engineering activities, daily management, and prioritization as per outlined plan and using methods like Agile and LEAN.
Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams including members from separate organizations to ensure tasks are completed as required.
Define execution plan of software projects and lead the execution based on the scope, quality requirements, expected timeline and available resources.
Ensure project management processes and practices are followed and improved as needed.
Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project.
Ensure that quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations in projects and other IB engineering activities.
Track project outcomes realization and customer satisfaction levels through established metrics.
Ensure fulfillment of Medical Device quality and regulatory requirements in all IB activities.
Manage clear communication, presentation and progress reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
Drive collaboration with internal and external interest groups to ensure prompt and high-quality outcomes.
Drive simplification and improvements.
Ensure lessons learned are collected.
Qualifications/Requirements
A diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with demonstrated skills of project management with some relevant experience.
Experience of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Documentation Practices and methodologies like Agile and LEAN.
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Medical Device development and related processes

Fluent oral and written communication skills in English
Preferred hybrid availability at GE HealthCare office in Kuopio, Finland
