A snapshot of your day:

The newly formed team will perform the tasks of operationallogistics. This includes creation of transport documents, ordering oftransports incl. monitoring. Information to all relevant parties on transportdetails and current status is another important aspect.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Preparation of complete set of documents for transportordering and customs declaration
  • observing specifics for dangerous goods transport wherenecessary
  • Clarification of documents with all involved internal andexternal business partners
  • Ordering of Transports based on defined dates, preferredcarriers and transportation contracts
  • Arrange for goods pickup at supplier with all transportmodes
  • Perform order to invoice verification for 3PL services
  • Preparation of documents (intrastat) for statisticsadministration
  • Coordination of dispatch activities based on definedlogistics concepts
  • Information to all relevant parties on transport detailsand current status
  • Supporting process optimization
  • Holding carrier liable and clarifying discrepancies(damages, delays etc.)
What you bring:

  • Bachelor in a business field (supply chain, logistics orsimilar) or education with relevant work experience alternatively and e.g forwarding agent/Manager;
  • Profound experience in Transportation Management coveringall modes (air,sea,ground, processing, transport ordering and monitoring, projectlogistics);
  • Experience in managing Logistics Services is already gainedby ensuring accurate, on time and economical delivery services to suit customer needsand/or meet internal project requirements
  • Preferably basic knowledge in export processes anddocuments
  • High analytical ability, customer & solutionorientation as well as your social competence, assertiveness and a high organizational & team abilityare further elements of your set of skills
  • Above average communication skills to stay informed, tocollaborate and to distribute all relevant information to internal & external businesspartners e.g. internal and external suppliers, project management, logistics service providers
  • Excellent communication skills throughout all levels in theorganization in English, spoken and written, German is a plus
  • Profound MS Office skills (Excel, Teams Word etc.), andbasic knowledge in SAP
