JOB SUMMARY
Provide clerical, administrative and logistical support to assigned department(s) or work area(s) such as Workforce Development, Job Connections, Human Resources, Operations and Retail Departments.
Maintain general knowledge and promote Goodwill Industries policies, procedures, and mission. Works to ensure Goodwill Industries provides an excellent, respectful, and welcoming work environment; greets people on the phone and in person providing friendly, respectful, and inclusive customer service. Responsible for staffing the front desk; answering and routing calls, data entry, ordering supplies, general administrative and clerical duties, etc. Provide general education, resources, support, and guidance to internal and external customers that visit or interact with Goodwill offices, facilities, or job sites including satellite offices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Staff the front desk, answer and route calls, greet and direct walk-in traffic, data entry, order supplies and basic administrative projects as assigned.
- Provide professional, respectful and kind customer services.
- Promote and uphold Goodwills Mission, Vision and Values.
- Promote Goodwill and Job Connection services to applicants and individuals inquiring about services.
- Coordinate and maintain vocational related resources and referral information as needed.
- Maintain logs, worksheets, graphs, charts and other tracking systems, lists or resources as needed.
- Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
- Ensure relevant data and records are accurately entered into appropriate databases and maintain confidentiality.
- Support department and program areas as assigned.
- Assist department and program areas with logistics such as set up and clean-up of meetings, events, rooms or work areas as needed.
- Update and maintain reports, databases, and correspondence.
- Maintain clean, orderly and organized workspace(s) and lobby areas. This may include wiping down and cleaning high touch surfaces, desks, chairs, countertops and other surface areas. May also include sweeping or vacuuming lobby or work areas as needed to maintain professional appearance. Watering plants and other light housekeeping tasks as needed.

EXPERIENCE
One years experience working in a clerical or administrative support role.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Possess and maintain a valid state appropriate driver license and insurable driving record. Insurability requires you to be at least age 21 and not over the age of 79.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position may be located within an office or warehouse environment. Warehouse environment may include exposure to moderate to loud noise, fluctuating temperatures and dust. Work environment is usually fast paced and hectic with frequent short deadlines and regular instances of critical or unusual situations.
WORK HOURS
This job can typically be done within a Monday through Friday schedule. However, based on events going on there may be times when evening and weekend work is required with little or no notice.
Administration hours are typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Workforce Development hours are typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
