The Logistics Coordinator must be able to complete required tasks with safety, efficiency and customer service mindset while still meeting deadlines. Under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor/Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will be part of the team that is accountable to facilitate departmental needs in shipping, warehouse, product assessment, and mastered one of the three essential functions within the supply chain and logistics department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Shipping
- Pack finished goods or spare parts to be shipped in appropriate boxes.
- Prepare shipment documentation.
- Ensure availability of shipping supplies.
- Move pallets from the shipping area to shipping docks
- Keep the shipping area clean and organized.
- Ensure each shipment is secure and accurate.
- Take immediate action to correct discrepancies found internally and externally.
- Ensure the process and method used are accurate and efficient throughout the day.
- Ensure the department manager is apprised of issues or concerns.
- Meet the daily shipping goal.
Warehouse
- Receive spare parts and integrate them to warehouse.
- Pick and match spare parts to repair order and sales order.
- Integrate spare parts returns to warehouse.
- Perform basic warehouse processes (create location, cycle counts, etc.).
Product assessment
- Manage and process all incoming client repairs within given lead time.
- Meet daily goal to help reach 94% efficiency.
- Follow SOP to open shipments in K & N area.
- Assess incoming repairs to determine (Condition, Reparability/non Repairable, Authenticity, Free of charge repair)
- Communicate with Customer Service Coordinators to report feedback on received shipments and ensure performance results or issues are relayed to stores.
- Communicate with floor supervisors and/or artisans concerning any technical questions.
- Communicate incorrect/missing data and/or technical questions to the Logistic Supervisor.
- Generate quotations to recommend additional repairs and or needed repairs for client’s request.
- Work closely with quality manager to communicate incoming quality issues or possible customer exchanges.
- Check individual quality performance report daily to correct errors.
- Participate in cross-training needs to assist in shipping department and or warehouse when needed.
- Participate in improvement projects within the company.
PROFIL
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Minimum education required: High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- 1-2 years basic computer, 10-key data entry
- Microsoft Excel preferred
- Good communication skills, written and oral
- Ability to pull or push up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Must be able to work overtime as required by the demands of the business.
- Must be able to accomplish multiple tasks and respond quickly and effectively to changes in priorities.
- Bilingual: English, Spanish is a plus
- Team Player
