A bit about the role:
This role can be taken in a number of directions, there is a decent sized team who to an extent can flex workflows to suit the successful applicant. Ideally you will have experience with SaaS contracts but this is not essential.
A full JD is available but as a brief the expectations will be:
To take charge and to be accountable for executing and managing supplier
commercial and performance activity in relation to suppliers/spend in Marketing, Commercial & Cx categories.
Support the Procurement Leadership team and Category Principal in execution of strategic sourcing initiatives, procurement and purchasing activities within New Zealand.
Support adherence to procurement & supply chain processes, and management of supplier performance across category OPEX and CAPEX expenditure. Role model Negotiation Factory end to end disciplines of data preparation, developing win-win negotiated outcomes and working in partnership with business stakeholders.
Key initiative owner in external spend transformation program managing identified ‘gap to full potential’ initiatives through the stage gate processes from ideation to business case and delivery of recurring and one-off value.
Become a “trusted advisor” to the business and develop and articulate supplier
benefits, ultimately delivering best-in-class supplier outcomes to that function.
Influencing and creating the confidence to execute against the plan and delivery of results for mid-scale or simple commercial deals are essential.

Experience in commercial/pricing models and negotiations in technology
Base-level technical commercial skills include category/supplier portfolio management, portfolio planning, supplier analysis, vendor selection, commercial due diligence, drafting and negotiation of commercial terms and working with the business owner to clearly define the statement of work for suppliers supplying products or services.

This is an initial contract role of between 3-6 months.
Working with a great NZ brand based on the North Shore
It will be hourly/daily rate the role is flexible and to an extent they can flex the workload based on experience but likely hourly rate $60-100+GST
